Tuckys Photography has flown commercial drone assignments in Singapore since 2015, CAAS-licensed for industrial and marine sites. Tuckys Photography photographs and films from the air the things that cannot be understood from the ground: a vessel underway, a landfill taking shape, a construction site changing week by week.
Offshore and coastal work — vessels at sea and at the yard, including the aerial series over Semakau in Tuckys Photography’s maritime photography portfolio. Industrial estates, plants and rooftops. Construction progress from a fixed aerial vantage, so each visit lines up with the last. Landscape and architecture where the elevated frame tells the story.
The gallery above is a selection of Tuckys Photography’s drone photography in Singapore. The vessels are MT Proteus Stephanie at the Eastern Petroleum Anchorage, FOS Orion and FOS Virgo in close formation, Bos Azlina on sea trials, a fast interceptor turning a full circle and MV Heers 1 under water-jet power. The Semakau frames follow the waste run from the Tuas Marine Transfer Station to the landfill it builds, photographed for the National Environment Agency. The landscape and city frames are the Drongo Trail at Windsor Nature Park, Rochor Centre before its demolition and Marina Bay at sunset.
Tuckys Photography plans drone videography in Singapore together with the stills and the ground-level work, so the grade and framing stay consistent and the film and the photographs read as one body of work. A drone can hold position beside or directly above a fast vessel and follow it, which is hard to do from a chase boat. For FOS Orion and FOS Virgo, Tuckys Photography coordinated with both captains so the vessels ran close together while the drone flew between them.
Singapore airspace is tightly controlled, and industrial sites add their own permits and safety rules. Tuckys Photography handles CAAS requirements and plans every flight with the site team before launch — the same discipline it brings to industrial photography on the ground.
As a CAAS-licensed drone operator, Tuckys Photography holds the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) and the UA Operator Permit (UOP). Each operation needs its own CAAS activity permit, which Tuckys Photography applies for. Where the work requires them, RSAF or MPA clearance and the vessel owner’s or agent’s approval are arranged per booking.
Drone stills and video are usually delivered together with the ground coverage, one matched set for your marketing, reports and press use.

Its drone photography and drone videography in Singapore cover vessels at sea and at anchor, industrial and marine sites, construction progress, landscape and architecture.
Each operation needs its own CAAS activity permit, which Tuckys Photography applies for before the flight. Industrial sites add their own permits and safety rules, so every flight is planned with the site team before launch. Approval times rest with the authorities, so it helps to get in touch early.
